A 33-year-old Jersey City man put up a fight with cops after he allegedly grabbed a woman's buttocks, police reports said.

Gary Emmanuel, of Gifford Avenue, was arrested 1:15 p.m. Wednesday on Bergen Avenue near Belmont Avenue and charged with three counts of aggravated assault on police officers, resisting arrest, obstruction of a governmental function, and criminal sexual contact, police reports said.

A 41-year-old woman who told officers that Emmanuel was riding a bicycle when he pedaled by and grabbed her buttocks, reports said.

When she pushed him away, the woman told cops Emmanuel circled around and shouted "I'll do it again," reports said.

The woman called 911, and when cops showed up she pointed him out, reports said.

As officers approached him, he "became irate, indignant, and belligerent" and yelled "Why don't you take your badge and gun off and go around the corner ... F--- outta here," reports said.

When the cops went to cuff him, Emmanuel kicked, punched and shoved three officers, according to reports.

The officers were treated at Christ Hospital for minor injuries, including cuts, abrasions, and bruises on hands and a knee, police reports said.

After he was arrested, Emmanuel continued to "scream, holler, and yell" and threatened to defecate in the cell, reports said.

Hudson County inmate found with pot in his crack: officials
 By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal
on December 20, 2012 at 6:22 PM,

A Fairview felon was charged with drug offenses after nine bags of suspected marijuana and a $100 bill were found hidden between his buttocks in the Hudson County jail in Kearny.
Roger Albarracin, 34, was charged with drug possession and possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school after the contraband was discovered on Dec. 16, two days after he was jailed for violating the terms of his probation on a prior conviction, the criminal complaint says.
Albarracin has 14 prior arrests and prior convictions for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, theft and two drug counts, court officials said. He made his first court appearance on the new charges in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City today via video link from the jail.
On Nov. 18, 2011, Albarracin was sentenced to 364 days in the county jail and five years probation for drug possession with intent to distribute, Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Gene Rubino said. But his probation was later revoked and he was resentenced three years in prison on Dec. 14, Rubino said.
Albarracin was brought to the jail on Dec. 14 to await transfer to state prison and he was processed, searched, booked and was in a holding area pending medical clearance to go into general population, Hudson County Corrections Director Oscar Aviles said.
Corrections officers developed information that there were drugs in the holding area and the investigation led to Albarracin and a second search, which located the suspected marijuana.
Aviles said he believes the bags had been hidden inside Albarracin's body and were retrieved once in the holding area.

A 57-year-old jewelry store owner fondled a woman's buttocks while he was piercing her ears, Jersey City police said.

Dae Kang, of River Edge, was charged with criminal sexual contact after incident Friday.

The 18-year-old Jersey City woman told police that she went to the store, at 2828 Kennedy Blvd., to get her ears pierced, reports said. Kang told police that he "had to hold her close, as if he was hugging her in order to properly pierce her ears" and that he didn't touch her in any way that was unprofessional, reports said.

Police said that a review of footage from the surveillance camera in the store showed the woman entering the store after 3 p.m., getting her ears pierced at 3:57 p.m. and then showed Kang "move both his right hand and his left hand down the victim's back and grab her buttocks with both hands."

Pooping Man Killed by Subway Train As Second Man Is Injured Nearby
Taylor Berman
Jan 15, 2013 9:18 PM

This is a weird one. A man was killed Tuesday afternoon after he fell from a moving subway train onto the tracks. But how did he fall, you ask? He was shitting between cars, as one does, when he apparently slipped, plunging to one of the more shameful deaths imaginable.

Tragic and terrifying, although perhaps less so – if only because of the pooping — than two other recent subway deaths.

Making things somewhat confusing, there was apparently a separate incident at the same subway station just before the fatal accident. According to the NYPD, a bloody man with a broken pelvis and "severe buttocks injuries" was found on the opposite platform after he mysteriously emerged from the tracks. The man, who police identified as Manuce Dulcio, didn't know how he got there or what had happened to him, although police noted he was very drunk.

Police initially said the two men had been fighting, although that turned out to be false. Instead, it was just your standard death-by-pooping/mysterious-drunken-injury incident, which is all too common these days.

Hoboken man nabbed with 250 heroin packets between cheeks in secret underwear compartment: cops

A 25-year-old Hoboken man was charged with possession of 300 envelopes of heroin, including 250 packets stashed between his buttocks in a secret compartment of his underwear, police said.
Angel L. Romero-Corraliza, 25, of Jackson Street, was arrested Monday at his home in the Hoboken public housing complex on Jackson Street, police said.

Romero-Corraliza was charged with multiple drugs offenses, including use or possession of paraphernalia, distributing drugs on school property and possession of heroin and marijuana within 500 feet of a park, reports said. He was also charged with possession of prohibited weapons and devices, police said.

As part of an ongoing investigation, police with the Anti-Vice Unit under Lt. Tony Bartley, along with police officers with the Housing Bureau, executed a search warrant Monday at 6:23 p.m. in a fourth-floor apartment of the building at Jackson and Second streets, police said.

Using a master key, police entered and found Romero-Corraliza's 51-year-old father and 78-year-old grandmother in the one-bedroom apartment, police said.

Police searched the apartment and found a "brick" containing 50 envelopes of heroin above the door, reports said. During the apartment search    Romero-Corraliza returned home and was searched by police, who found five individually packaged bricks, each containing 50 envelopes, of heroin stashed in his underwear, reports said.

Police said Romero-Corraliza was also carrying five Ziploc bags of marijuana. Police also seized $212 in proceeds from drug sales, including $67 from the apartment and $145 in Romero-Corraliza's possession, reports said.

Cops also found eight cell phones in various room in the home as well as 54 .22-caliber rifle bullets and 14 9mm hollow-point bullets, stored in a kitchen cabinet and hallway closet, police said.

Romero-Corraliza was held on $100,000 with no 10 percent option, police said.

"This was made possible with the diligence and investigative work our Anti-Vice Unit officers and the good work of the Housing Bureau," Falco said.

Falco said the arrest was aided by improved communication and trust built between the residents and the police, as a result of quarterly public safety meetings with Hoboken Housing Authority residents and community policing of the Housing Bureau police.

"We are getting the cooperation of residents," Falco said. "People feel free to speak about issues at meetings and through our anonymous hotline." Hoboken Housing Authority Executive Director Carmelo Garcia said that the authority assisted police by providing "intelligence."

Falco said when additional officers are sworn in by the end of June, they will be posted to patrol the area, in order to supplement the work of Hoboken Housing Bureau police.

"We are making great headway toward improving the quality of life for residents," Falco said. "We have quite a way to go yet but we are moving in right direction."

Residents can provide information to a Hoboken Police hotline at (201) 217-3433

Should Chad Johnson have received 30 days in jail for butt slap?

By The Jersey Journal
on June 12, 2013 at 6:15 AM, updated June 12, 2013 at 6:16 AM

Chad Johnson -- the former football star also known as Chad Ochocinco because of the No. 85 jersey he used to wear -- almost made it out the courtroom without having to do jail time.

But then his hands got in his way.

Asked by Broward County Judge Kathleen McHugh if he was satisfied with the performance of his attorney who had negotiated a no-jail deal with prosecutors even though Johnson admitted to head-butting his wife, Johnson said he was pleased with his lawyer's representation.

McHugh went on to compliment the performance of Johnson's attorney, Adam Swickle.

To show his appreciation, Johnson reverted to football behavior and swatted Swickle on the behind.

The courtroom erupted in laughter and McHugh got irate.

"I'm not going to accept these plea negotiations," she fumed. "The isn't a joke."

Johnson was then handcuffed and led away to jail.

Jersey City man accused of jumping from moving car to commit sexual assault appears in court

By Jonathan Lin/The Jersey Journal
on February 05, 2014 at 9:55 AM

A Jersey City man accused of jumping from his moving car to sexually assault a woman who fled the vehicle moments earlier just blocks from the Holland Tunnel in Jersey City made his first appearance in court yesterday.

At around 10 a.m. Sunday, a woman ran from a car driven by Kevin A. Cherry, 35, at the intersection of 12th Street and Jersey Avenue after he screamed at her and made sexually suggestive comments, according to Port Authority police.

Cherry then chased the 30-year-old victim about 300 feet and pinned her against a concrete barrier, Port Authority police said.

According to court documents released yesterday, he then forcibly grabbed the woman against her will and grinded “his pelvic area against her buttocks in full public view on an active highway.”

He also grabbed and tore the woman’s clothes, the documents said.

Cherry fled the scene when he saw a Port Authority civilian employee calling police using a two-way radio.

Cherry was apprehended at a nearby gas station after a foot chase, Port Authority police said.

He was charged with criminal sexual contact, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief to an automobile, bail jumping and driving while suspended.

Prior to his appearance before Judge Margaret Marley yesterday, Cherry’s bail had been initially set at $50,000, cash  only.

When the issue of his bail was revisited, the judge said it would be set later because the Special Victims Unit of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office would be getting involved with the case.

2010 Jersey City murder: It started with a touch of woman's butt, attorney says at trial (http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/2014/02/trial_begins_for_jersey_city_man_charged_with_2010_sidewalk_murder.html#incart_river)

The trial for a Jersey City man accused of murdering a 24-year-old man four years ago began this morning, with both sides giving opening statements and questioning a Jersey City police officer.

Christopher A. Gonzalez, also known as "Starz," was 21 when authorities say he murdered Darryl U. Wilson of Summit Avenue on a Kennedy Boulevard sidewalk near Boyd Avenue on Oct. 16, 2010.

Wilson's mother, father, two aunts and two of his sisters sat on the prosecutor's side of the courtroom this morning, while several people who declined to state their relationship with Gonzalez sat on the side closer to Gonzalez and the defense table.

In her opening statement, Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Nicole Ghezzar told the jury that Gonzalez's friend, Gonzalez's friend's girlfriend, Wilson and Wilson's friend were talking on Oct. 16, 2010 when Gonzalez's friend's girlfriend said Wilson's friend had touched her butt.

Wilson attempted to calm the situation, but Gonzalez's friend got angry, punched Wilson's friend and stomped on him while he was on the ground, Ghezzar told the jury.

During this time, Wilson continued to try to break up the fight, Ghezzar said.

Gonzalez then came by with another group of people, saw the fight and shot Wilson's friend in the stomach while Wilson's friend was still on the ground, Ghezzar said. . . .

A 17-year-old Jersey City boy was shot in the right buttocks on Martin Luther King Drive yesterday, not far from the location where a 5-year-old boy was shot in June, officials said.

Officer responding to MLK near Union Street at 10 p.m. on a report of shots being fired found the victim who said he was near the Salem Lafayette housing complex driveway when he heard four or five shots and felt a gunshot wound to his buttocks, a police report says.

A 26-year-old Bayonne man was shot in the buttocks early yesterday morning at Wegman Parkway and Martin Luther King Drive in Jersey City, according to a police report.

The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m.

The man told officers he was walking west on Wegman Parkway and when he got to the Drive, he heard three shots fired behind him and felt a bullet enter his left buttock, the report says.

At Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health, doctors determined a bullet entered the man's left buttock but lodged in his right buttock, the police report says.

The man, who did not see who fired the shots, is in stable condition with a non-life threatening wound, the report says.

That is one magic bullet. Maybe there was another shooter -- on a grassy knoll perhaps?

TORONTO — Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is suffering from a rare and difficult cancer that will require aggressive chemotherapy, his doctor said yesterday.

Dr. Zane Cohen, a colorectal surgeon at Mount Sinai hospital, said Ford has a malignant sarcoma tumor. Ford has been hospitalized for a week with a tumor in his abdomen.

Cohen said the mayor will undergo chemotherapy within the next two days and that he will be treated with fairly intensive chemotherapeutic agents. He said the cancer is spreading and that they have found "a small nodule in the buttock" near the left hip.

The mayor withdrew his re-election bid Friday as he undergoes treatment, ending a campaign he pursued despite calls for him to quit amid drug and alcohol scandals.

One tenant kicks his landlords in the buttocks, another robs landlord of cell phone: Bayonne police

A landlord-tenant dispute in Bayonne turned violent on Monday when one tenant kicked his two landlords in the buttocks and another tenant robbed one of the landlords of her cell phone, according to Bayonne police.

At 3:23 p.m. yesterday at 429 Broadway, two individuals later identified as Marian Ghobrial, 31, and Mokhtar A. Samuel, 40, were arrested after physically assaulting their two landlords, who are both women, Bayonne police Lt. Janine Foy said.

A verbal dispute over a padlock put on a basement door in the building by the two tenants became physical when Ghobrial grabbed the cellphone out of the hands of one of the landlords, Foy said.

Samuel then kicked that same landlord on the buttocks, trying to force her out of the door, before "forcefully grabbing" the other landlord and also kicking her on the buttocks, she said.

The landlord whose cellphone was taken suffered a small cut on her hand, Foy said, but everyone at the scene refused medical attention.

Both Samuel and Ghobrial were charged with simple assault, and Ghobrial was additionally charged with robbery, Foy said. When Samuel was being processed by officers, he gave a false first name, and was then further charged with hindering apprehension, she said.

When Samuel's real first name was determined, he was found to have a warrant out of Bayonne Municipal Court for $1,091, the nature of which was not reported on the police report regarding the incident, Foy said.

Samuel and Ghobrial were each taken to the Hudson County jail in Kearny on a $30,000 bail with a 10 percent option, she said.

HOBOKEN—Police are looking for a man who they say grabbed a woman's buttocks behind a Hoboken Shop Rite.

A 19-year-old Jersey City woman told police that he took hold of her as she was walking into Hoboken from Jersey City on Dec. 19, said Hoboken police Sgt. Edgardo Cruz. She was behind the Shop Rite at 900 Madison Street when he allegedly approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks.

When she screamed, the man ran away, Cruz said.

Police have been studying surveillance footage in the area and believe he is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, Cruz said. He was wearing a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, tan or light green pants and had a yellow backpack.

Any one with information on this incident should call Detective Jonathan Mecka at 201-420-2113.

--When asked by detectives if he had anything in his pants, a Jersey City man replied "yes."

He then allegedly pulled a large package of drugs from his buttocks.

James Fields, 26, hid 10 bags of heroin, 49 packages of crack cocaine and one suspected bag of cocaine in his buttocks, Hoboken police said. Detectives had initially arrested Fields at 10:11 p.m. on Friday for trespassing on Hoboken Housing Authority Property, police said. While sitting in the back of a cop car, Fields allegedly shifted suspiciously in his seat. He continued to squirm at headquarters, so detectives asked him if he had anything in his pants, police said.

Fields confirmed that he did, and then pulled a large package of drugs from his buttocks, police said.

Detectives later found an additional 45 grams of crack cocaine, two packages of heroin and baggies typically used for drugs during a consent search of a city residence, police said. Fields had allegedly been hiding the drugs there. Detectives also seized $188 in drug proceeds.

Fields' drugs were just part of a large haul seized by Hoboken police on Friday and early Saturday, police said. Fields and two unrelated arrests led to the confiscation of $3,700 worth of illegal drugs, police said.

Fields faces criminal trespassing charges, as well as a slew of drug possession with intent to distribute, possession within 1000 feet of a school zone and possession within 500 feet of public housing charges. He is being held in the Hudson County jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

The third floor consists of a multi-screen movie theater and the mall's food court.

JERSEY CITY -- A judge socked a Jersey City teen with a $100,000 bail after he was charged with following two women and slapping them on the buttocks.

Sebastian Soto, of Clifton Place near Fairmount Avenue, appeared in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City today via video link from Hudson County jail in Kearny. He is charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact in connection to the Jersey City incidents.

Soto's bail was set at $100,000 cash or bond, but it could be reduced. The bail will be reviewed in Superior Court with an attorney from the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victims Unit present, court officials said.

In an incident on Thursday and another on Friday, authorities say Soto committed the crime "for the purpose of sexually arousing or sexually gratifying himself or to humiliate or degrade (both victims) using physical force or coercion, specifically by following the victim and slapping her on the buttocks," the criminal complaints say.

Probable cause for the charges is listed as being the audio/video recorded statement given to investigators by Soto, the complaint say

Man stabbed in buttocks and robbed by tent 'friends,' police say

By Ron Zeitlinger
The Jersey Journal

With friends like this, you don't need enemies -- but you sure could use an emergency room doctor.

A 57-year-old man described as homeless and living in a tent on Newark Avenue in Jersey City was stabbed and robbed Tuesday night by friends who he said also lived in the tent, Jersey City police spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.

Police responded to Newark Avenue near Mary Benson Park at 7:50 p.m. and found the victim, who had been stabbed in the buttocks, left hand and left elbow, Wallace-Scalcione said.

The victim told police he was staying in the tent there with friends, and they attacked and robbed of an unknown amount of money. The man was taken to RWJBarnabas Health's Jersey City Medical Center and he was treated for his injuries.

A West New York man riding a bicycle groped a woman as he passed her on a Hoboken street and fled, but he was tracked down and arrested four days later, authorities said.

Carlos Ramos-Huapaya, 28, was arrested at his home on Monday and charged with criminal sexual contact, Hoboken Lt. Edgardo Cruz said.

Cruz said the groping incident occurred on Thursday, when the victim was walking home in the area of 13th and Clinton streets. The woman told police she was approached from behind by a man riding a mountain bike, and the man grabbed her buttocks, Cruz said.

The victim told police she was not injured.

A brief description was provided, but police could not locate the man, Cruz said.

Detective Arturo Gonzalez picked up the investigation and, with the assistance from uniformed personnel, and along with the evidence collected, identified Ramos-Huapaya as the assailant, Cruz said.

After his arrest Ramos-Huapaya was taken to Hudson County jail.
