Sell it on eBay and use the money to pay off some debt that the city has incurred.

whatever it takes to keep the school was very hard to get into sda back when i went. it was definitely an adventure that i am happy to have experienced.

i just hand them a bag off my key ring and tell them to pick it up, you know, in case they forgot to bring a bag.

So where do you go if you want a Shawafel?

I don't usually mix the two honestly...but if the urge comes I'd probably go for Gypsy over Ibby's because I just don't dig the shawarma at Ibby's.

I've been eating their shawarma sandwiches regularly and even switched to shawarma over salad for the past few weekly visits. I've always had a good meal from Gyspy and every time I come in Moudy asks when I'm moving back downtown since I am not in daily as I used to be. If Gypsy were still along my daily route I'd probably still be grabbing lunch there 2-3x a week. I know people on that other JC board complained about the chicken having too much garlic and supposedly they lightened up the seasoning, but I haven't noticed much of a difference. Their chicken is juicy whereas Ibby's is dry. If I'm in the mood for falafel I usually go to Ibby's.

I stop in there often. Love the pork tacos!

almost every store with power in the heights is allowing people to fact one store even set up extra power strips outside (palisade/congress) and another (hutton/palisade) set up chairs in their little cafe area for people to hang out while a girl greeted people at the door asking if they were okay and needed anything, all without asking people to purchase items.

pretty damn nice if you ask me, however there are places near journal square that charge $5 for cell phone recharges when there is not a national disaster.

My friend Tara is performing in this. I saw her perform in NYC Rocky last weekend. She had also been in the Bayonne theater production and is an award winning Columbia from House of Happiness at the RHPS Convention some years ago.

Muni Meters = no time left on meters because people take the tickets with them = city gets double payment when someone leaves before their time runs out.

I agree the muni meters are a bit of a pain in the rear, but some of them do take cards when you can't find a quarter. How about meters that take more than quarters?

i'm signed up for a lot of coupon sites. allergy season has been much easier thanks to the zyrtec and allegra coupons :)

guess who's playing this!?
your own JC croft!

there is a lady on waverly st. that may know where he belongs. she lives behind my parents. if you want, pm me and i'll give you her name/address and you can tell her that i sent you. i highly doubt this is one of the colony cats that she and others take care of near the hospital. sounds like he either got out or got dumped.

There are many home owner and renters insurance policies that will cover your dog and the damage they are capable of doing.

$10k is a minimal amount. Many dog bite injuries can skyrocket over that amount in minutes.

I personally know someone who has a "potentially dangerous dog." He has to pay an additional licensing fee of  $150 per year and his dog is not allowed in "normal" public areas where other dogs may be around. Also, the dog has to wear a muzzle when in public. This dog isn't even a pit bull.

For a person who owns a pit bull that has done no wrong though, why should they have to pay extra based on breed stigma? If they made it mandatory for all pit bull owners to pay a higher licensing fee based on breed, it will just be encouraging more lower income people in not licensing their dogs and also potentially hurting pit bull adoptions at animal shelters.

I'm not saying this because I own a pit bull, but because of the amount of dogs I handle on a daily basis. I walk very few pit bulls. My biggest culprits of being "prey driven" or giving me any sort of grief are the Lab mixes and small terriers.

Raising the prices on the regular licenses will help add more money to the dog account and may in turn result in more free rabies clinics throughout Jersey City.

This really seems like a waste of time.  If the low fees don't encourage people to license their pets, then a higher fine (or fine enforcement) would be a better motivator.

If this code needs to be tinkered with, the least they should do in Jersey City is charge $100 to license dangerous breeds (read: pit bulls).

i bet your parents are really proud of how big your balls look behind a computer screen.

OH OH!  I am guessing you were able to identify yourself?  Weren't you the one that ceased using rescues?  And the one that would “clean house” to keep numbers down?  How did that feel?  How was the heart sticking going for you?  I heard you were very “efficient” to say the least.  Your parents must be proud.

I heard you were hanging around the shelter helping out until they gave Niki the ED position, and then *poof* you disappeared.  I bet you were hoping that they would give you the ED position, weren't you?

Notice how Diana apologized extensively to Janice, but not so much to you?  Ouch.

OH OH! Guess who "the goth chick" is!?!
