I'll bring corn muffins.

We got pineapple, cherry tomatoes, celery, carrots, salami, pepperoni, crackers, pretzels, cheese, hummus and grapes. We'll be there around 12:15.

So excited all of you are going...it's been way too long. Besides bringing, FE and the Lil' human, we will bring something...hmmmmm what should we bring?
We can bring all those little soy sauce and duck sauce packets from the Chinese place.

You people must be special if FE is offering to go into his private stash....

Awesome. We are lazy and have a ton of stuff to do later on and tonight (drink, party, nap, drink) so we will be bringing some kind of cheese/meat/fruit/veggie/crackers platter, something that we can snack on.

I'm lazy these days too  ;D. Just ordered Salsa, Guacamole and homemade chips from Charrito's enough for 15 people.

OK
TheFang: yeah, i gotta agree with jehu here

Darna: we had a lovely shat with mrs binky this morning

stephen: Hmm… I'm as clueless as you are.

Darna: could someone please splain to me why a person in a gang is called a gangbanger but a gangbang has nothing to do with gang activity?

shahaggy: can't believe I'm saying this but +1 jehu

[02:58 PM] MCA: it's not stalking, it's caring enough to find out things she won't tell you herself

[01:35 PM] shahaggy: fine but jehu's correct

TheFang: as much as it pains me to say, jehu might be right.

One time, I hired a monkey to take notes for me in class. I would just sit back with my mind completely blank while the monkey scribbled on little pieces of paper. At the end of the week, the teacher said, "Class, I want you to write a pape

Note that there will be six food trucks, from pizza to veggie burgers to hot dogs, etc.

Also, arriving early is a good idea not only to get a good spot, but the Jazz House Kids kick some serious *ss.

I want to organize a WJC Potluck Picnic at the Jazzfest on Saturday. Bring a blanket/lounge chair/ottoman/what-have-you, some grub (list what you're bringing below) and get ready to groove your socks off in da Heights. Except you, Soshin—you keep your socks on.

I'll be bringing a whole mess of cold fried chicken.

Jazz city for a week
Riverview Jazz Festival to kick off on June 1
by Al Sullivan
Reporter staff writer

Not many people know that during the early part of the 20th Century, northern New Jersey was one of the capitals of jazz. Nearly all the jazz greats of the period appeared in clubs from Newark to Paterson and beyond.

Picking up on that tradition, and perhaps aiming to bring a bit of that reputation for quality jazz to Jersey City, RiverviewJazz.Org (RJO) will present the Riverview Jazz Festival from June 1 to 7.

“This year for our third edition of the Riverview Jazz Festival, we have expanded to a weeklong event,” said RJO president Will Tatz. “We will be co-promoting live club dates at venues throughout Jersey City during the week leading up to our main event. Then it all culminates with a Gatsby-themed Dixieland performance and brunch at the Farmers Market on Sunday. This proves to be our biggest and best festival to date.”

An open reception and jam session will be held at the Brightside Tavern, 141 Bright St., starting at 7 p.m. on June 1. The jam session will start at 8 p.m. and will feature the Noel Sagerman Trio.
