On Thursday, January 5, the Iron Monkey will be tapping our keg of Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout. Released in October 2011, CBS is the second release in the brewery’s highly-anticipated “Backstage Series.”

Canadian Breakfast Stout is an Imperial Stout that’s brewed with a blend of coffees and imported chocolates, then aged in bourbon barrels that have most recently been aging pure Michigan maple syrup.

CBS has a BeerAdvocate.com rating of 100, and has gotten great reviews everywhere. We’ll start pouring at 8:30 p.m., but get there early – we expect a crowd of people who want to try this great brew!

Join us on Nov. 12 as we host a fundraiser for Building Botswana, an organization that partners with locals in rural Botswana to help build a preschool for poverty-stricken children in the community.
