Well, tomorrow night the episode of your favorite new hospital drama featuring your favorite Downtown JC bar will be airing. Hey everyone! On Thursday February 11th "Mercy" is filming at the Monkey. We'll be closing the first floor main bar at 7pm. However, we will be open upstairs for dinner and drinks. Just use the York Street side entrance. Someone will be there to whisk you up to the dining room. Do not be deterred by the cameras and trailers we WILL be open for business. Thanks!

Iron Monkey is having a contest that started on Nov. 23 and ends on March 2, 2010.

1. As of Monday, November 23, 2009, you have 100 days to consume 100 different types of our bottled beer.
2. You will be given a card with a list of the beers that we have on hand. Print your name, phone number, address, and email on the top of the card and the bartender will check off and enter every beer you drink. You need to bring a form of identification with you every time you purchase a beer.
3. On your 100th beer, Iron Monkeywill put a picture of you on our "Monkey Mayhem Bulletin Board".
4. You have a choice of two contests:

CONTEST A:
*We will pick 5 types of beer of our choice and blindfold you.
*You have to guess all 5 beers correctly.
*If you get all 5 beers right, you will win a prize worth $1,000.00.
-You will receive a check for $500.00 and a gift certificate for $500.00 to spend at the Iron Monkey for you and your friends.

Contest B
*You will have to pay an entrance fee of $350.00 to enter the blind taste test.
*Remember, you will be tasting 50 beers, your friends will be welcome to taste and finish the rest of the open bottles.

to make MCA happy I will update the iron monkey thread with my latest review after coming from another long lunch there.
Had lunch on the roof deck for the 3rd time in 4 weeks.
The dogfish head 90 min IPA is delicious there, but they have no miller products, instead favoring bud

the burger was great and the bartender, Fernando is awesome!
best part of lunch was the awesome ratio of men to women, there was a huge group of lovely ladies that outnumbered the guys

but I ain't get no digits off dem
