WiredJC: More freedom of speech on "other" site?
Short answer; yes.

Apparently the 'other' site has outdone this one by allowing "certain" topics to be openly discussed, in adherence to true American democratic principles of freedom of speech & expression. Without making subjective judgement calls or censoring.

Or maybe it's just that they're not such withered-anus prudes as the mods are here.  ::)

Whatever the reason, they have a thread going on 'over there' that makes mention of certain murky behaviours and suggests perhaps even some felonious activities. Here's the link:

http://jclist.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=9378&forum=6

I'm sure the mods here will know who the proper authorities are in this case and report this matter to them accordingly.

Long Live Our Fatherland!.

What he didn't know is that I may be a CIA covert operative and he therefore has possibly commited a very very very big FELONY. A serious breach of National Security. In fact my whole JC Mission (code name: Sticky Green) has now been jeopardized.

that's all you got? el onetrick pony?  c'mon, playah O0

I'll try to put in a good word for him, but you know how the boys at the Pentagon are, always looking to make an example of someone.

my experience with the fellers in Suitland and Crystal City, they don' really giveaship

With time off for good behavior I think I can still get him out in 3 to 10.

Arguing with people like this is akin to playing chess with a retarded kid.  You'll likely win, but there's no glory in it.

I thought it was "arguing on the internet is like the special olympics- even if you win, you're still retarded."

Everybody needs a little time away
I heard you say
From each other

Even lovers need a holiday
Far away from each other

Hold me now
It's hard for me to say I'm sorry
I just want you let me stay

After all that we've been through
I will make it up to you
I promise to

Lol.  :D

"There is a tradition in many online discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically "lost" whatever debate was in progress".

WRONG. Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.[2]
Also, Godwin's Law does not question whether any particular reference or comparison to Hitler or the Nazis might be appropriate. It is precisely because such a comparison or reference may sometimes be appropriate, Godwin has argued,[3] that overuse of Nazi and Hitler comparisons should be avoided, because it robs the valid comparisons of their impact."

And BTW, there is a strong movement against Godwin's position as well:

Wasn't going to supply fish biscuits to you, but you've so *clearly* violated a rule of argumentation that's it simply laughable.

Emphasis supplied by me.

Begin quote:

Godwin's Law

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_Law

There is a tradition in many online discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically "lost" whatever debate was in progress. This principle is itself frequently referred to as Godwin's Law. Thus Godwin's Law effectively serves to impose an upper bound on thread length in general. It is considered poor form to raise arbitrarily such a comparison with the motive of ending the thread. There is a widely recognized codicil that any such ulterior-motive invocation of Godwin's Law will be unsuccessful (this is sometimes referred to as "Quirk's Exception").[5]

Godwin's Law does not apply to discussions directly addressing genocide, propaganda, or other characteristics of the Nazi regime. Instead, it applies to inappropriate, inordinate, or hyperbolic comparisons of other situations (or one's opponent) with Hitler or Nazis. However, Godwin's Law can itself also be abused, as a distraction or diversion, that fallaciously miscasts an opponent's argument as hyperbole, especially if the comparisons made by the argument are actually appropriate.

End quote

Again, have a very, very special day.
