I am sure you have exhasuted all your options, but generally when I go away and leave my cat at home, I have a friend come by and give food/water/TLC. Leave some beers in the fridge for your friend so they will hang out for a bit. And then bring the sitter a little gift as a token of your appreciation! Everyone wins in this situation
e-eff, are your "girls" dogs or cats (or something else)? Can you recommend your pet sitter?

Thanks.LOL I don't have kids, I didn't know you tip a baby sitter - aren't they in business for themselves? What is the percentage? Or is it throwing them a few dollars?
We do not tip our cat sitter. He's one guy who has his own company, therefore all of the money we pay goes directly to him. This raises a point. . . Do you tip a person who owns the company? Let's say someone like Ricky from Ricky's Salon? Or better yet, Jonathan Anton? I tip the owners but I always feel like i shouldn't have.
I've contacted someone to watch my girls - this is the first time I'm using an actual service as opposed to friends helping out, do people tip?
