There is new spot at the corner of Mallory and Fisk. It is owned by Abbey's of Monmouth Avenue and Bayonne fame.

It is big and it smells brand new, because it is. It's been open for mere weeks. And I went there before any of you.

They have a ridiculously humongous beer selection which seems to be all the rage now-a-days. They also have the most awesome version of Big Buck Hunter anywhere. In addition to North America, you can kill animals on other continents and subcontinents.

The menu was standard bar fare. The place is large and in-charge. They have one of those faux fireplaces there too that burns Natural Gas or some shnick.

There is a pool table too, if you are into that sort of thing.
