This cracks me up:

Why would the contractor think they are bringing in a dance floor? I wish I could find a place in JC with a good place to dance!

NewJerseyCraftBeer.com got an update from Barcade's owner, re: beer and game selection. Opening around the end of this month.

We will not have any pinball machines or anything other than classic video games from those years. Our address is 163 Newark Avenue at the corner of Barrow St. We will be open daily at 12pm, closing at 2am on weeknights and 3am on Fridays and Saturdays."

Stopped by today and got invited inside to take a look. I like it. Very much like the Brooklyn space, wide open. Games lining the walls, perhaps 20 total. Looks very close to opening, they said they were cleaning out the tools. They could be ready for a pilot opening in a week I'd say.

(A twenty-five pound plastic box the size of a suitcase is technically portable). I'll even throw in the CP/M disk operating system, a 300 baud modem, and a copy of Zork.
