That's not the Toll Brothers site, that's the former 111 First, no?  Thought that Toll's project is over where the Manishewitz plant is.

They plan to build 2 towers by manishewitz (marin and morgan). And the third tower is supposedly in that empty lot across from the powerhouse - 111 first. The rendering actually looks pretty nice, if built will be an identifying mark for the jc skyline.

ehhh, facts shmacts...

Thanks for the link.  What a mess, so they basically demolished the artist building, then left the debris to rot.

Sorry, wibbit. The lots at 110 and 111 First St. are owned by developer scumbag Lloyd Goldman and his company BLDG Managment, not developer scumbags Toll Brothers. Please see the thread on the demolition of 111 First St. and "Development at 110 First Street" for details.

Just wish all the legal fighting would stop and actually get on with the construction. Doesnt the "artists" realize it's not realistic to have a few lowrise loft there for them to draw pictures in the middle of a populated business/residential distrct, and on the flip side the city is letting toll build 3x 30+ story highrises, cant they stop being so greedy and leave a few floors for the artist to draw their stuff.  So things can move forward!    They should hire that mediator lady from "fairly legal" and get this resolved!

Sorry, wibbit, you live in the post-industrial wasteland laughingly known as the PAD, not Hamilton Park, where landed gentry court the monied South West Asians with spontaneous cultural festivals held on reclaimed mini-putt courses.  The PAD is known only for potholes, bridge'n'tunnel supper clubs and the odd reclusive wine magnate.  Why, you don't even have bus service to the fabled isle of Manhattoe!

You should prolly just kill yourself, or move to Westfield.

Actually, that's not a bad idea for all of us - including me.  Especially me.  Does the Trader Joe's on Elm Street sell acquavit?

Hi does anyone know what's going on with this project? Last I heard (early 2010) tolls won the appellate court against the pad association.  Did the pad appeal? is Toll moving forward with construction soon?

That wasteland across the street from the powerhouse with all the steel beams and bricks piled on looks terrible.   Cant they at least clean it up and make a grass field out of it, so the local residents can use it as a mini park until all the court fighting is done...
