Sidewalk sales and live music performances by some of the area’s best bands will have Journal Square jumping in June. Shoppers will find all day savings on hundreds of items at dozens of stores, plus music at the Kiosk in Journal Square from 11:30 am till 1:30 pm on the following dates in June:
Thursday, June 2nd - The Kootz, jamming on 60s, 70s and 80s Rock N’ Roll
Friday, June 3rd - Nicole Hart, belting out Blues, Soul and R&B
Saturday, June 4th - Dennis Gruenling & Jumptime, delivering Jump, Swing and Blues to the Square
The events are being hosted by the Journal Square Restoration Corporation (JSRC) and paid for in whole or in part by the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone Program. The Provident Bank Foundation is the program sponsor, and the United Jersey Blues Network is the music partner for the concert series.
