It looks like they have a new menu and a liquor license now. And I hear rumors that there are new owners – can anyone confirm? I haven't been since they closed down for a few weeks to "remodel the kitchen".

By the way, they're today's Groupon.

Give it another week or so. They are still trying to get things smoothed out and make...interesting mistakes. The more amusing one was was putting a layer of salt on the creme brulee rather than sugar. My wife told me that I *had* to try it after she did and I didn't clue in to the mischievous glint in her eye.

I will refrain from second-guessing the owner of three successful downtown Jersey City restaurants (i.e., Sawadee, More and Sky Thai) in his choice of grand opening time or his opinion of whether DTJC can support yet another Thai or Asian fusion restaurant. *Clearly*, he thinks it does.

Am I the only one who thinks "Box" might not be the best name for a restaurant?

Word on the street is that a Japanese bento box restaurant will be coming to the Ox space.

I will investigate further.
