I've ordered from here a couple of times. Definitely a fan of the Cheesesteak and the Bibimbop. Quick, efficient delivery. Would order again.

Finally managed to make it here, for brunch. Had the ham and egg savory crepe, boychild had the banana crepe, and I brought some short rib tacos home for my daughter. Really, really tasty, really fast fast fast service. Dangerously good. If I lived within easy walking distance, my breath would always smell of kimchi.

We had a pleasant experience dining here last Saturday. The waitress, who together with her husband own the Creperie Truck, gave us some guidance with the menu, and we ended up ordering an appetizer portion of dumplings, the Korean BBQ cheesesteak for me, and a smoked salmon crepe for Mrs. B.
Everything was very fresh and very tasty. I thought that the bread used for my cheesesteak was outstanding.
The owners are all friendly and outgoing, the menu is very interesting, and we look forward to going back and trying more. Maybe we'll have room for dessert next time (They offer Creme Brulee and Bananas Foster among others.)
We ended up bringing half of that crepe home and spent all of $16 plus tip for the two of us.
Here's wishing them all success!

Lucinda Creperie and The Krave trucks set to open joint storefront

I try not to bash the
JJ
too much but this is easily the worst written and researched article I've read in a while. Not only does the writer quote the
JC Independent
's much better article but confuses the now-defunct
Lucinda Burrito & Taco Truck
with the Hoboken-based
Taco Truck
.
Lucinda Creperie and The Krave trucks set to open joint storefront
Published: Saturday, September 24, 2011, 3:30 PM
Stephanie Musat/ For
The Jersey Journal
What does Korean Barbeque and crepes have in common? Nothing.
But now the two cuisines (and popular food trucks, The Krave and Lucinda Creperie) are joining forces in a new endeavor to open a permanent store front 24 Mercer Street.
The name: Kraverie - a restaurant with seating for about 30 where the two trucks will share the kitchen.
Lucinda Creperie owner Natasha Usher and The Krave owner Charles Heo agreed to go into the project together after both owners met. They both park their food trucks in the same place.
With a permanent location, Usher said it will garner a permanent fan base so people know where to find the cuisine, instead of running into the truck by chance.
“It hurts to know that someone is craving our food but that something happened to our truck,” Usher told
The Jersey City Independent
. “Now, we’ll be able to serve lunch, dinner, and hopefully breakfast seven days a week.”
Usher and her husband, Chris, own The Taco Truck - a successful truck-turned-storefront location in Hoboken, so she is hoping the same success will come with her new adventure.
The menu will boast favorites from both trucks, as well as some that are exclusive to the restaurant. With a full kitchen, the owners said they will be able to make things without the constraints of a truck.
In some cases, there will be fusion between the two cuisines, like a Korean bbq meat filled crepe. Otherwise, the food will remain independent from each other.
The restaurant is expected to open in early November.

Popular Jersey City Food Trucks Lucinda Creperie and The Krave Partnering to Open Storefront Restaurant
By Laryssa Wirstiuk • Sep 22nd, 2011
For food trucks and pop-up restaurants, 2011 has been a banner year. Bon Appetit just named San Francisco’s Mission Chinese Food – a food truck turned pop-up restaurant turned fusion brick-and-mortar eatery – one of the best new restaurants of the year.
The story is much the same locally, with food trucks having become some of the most popular dining options in Downtown Jersey City — not only for the lunchtime work crowd, but now for the after-work dinner crowd as well.
Two seemingly different Jersey City food trucks are riding this wave of success and popularity by partnering to open Kraverie at 24 Mercer Street, the former location of Cuban restaurant Ria’s Café.
Even the most unobservant residents of Downtown Jersey City have probably seen the bright yellow Lucinda Creperie truck parked in locations like Van Vorst Park, the Grove Street PATH Plaza and Harborside.
For many food truck owners, a restaurant is the ultimate goal. Natasha Usher – co-owner of Lucinda Creperie and Lucinda Burrito and Taco Truck with her husband Chris – always wanted to open a creperie.
“I wanted to do crepes, but we bought the taco and burrito truck first so that we could start right away,” she says. “The lady who sold us the truck showed us how to operate the truck and taught us the laws of operations. This gave us the experience we needed to do the crepe truck.”
Within five months, Lucinda Creperie was serving crepes to hungry residents and workers.
Around the same time, a neon green truck known as The Krave began serving Korean BBQ while parked in many of the same locations.
The Krave co-owner Charles Heo and his business partners — all graduates of New York University’s class of 2007 — saw potential in Jersey City.
“The city is still in its beginning stages of development, and we wanted to grow with it,” Heo says. “We could’ve worked in New York, but we chose Jersey City to bring new opportunities here.”
For Heo and his business partner Taejin In, partnering with the Ushers seemed like a natural progression. Both trucks park in the same commercial garage and share utilities.
“We had been looking for a location for a few months,” Heo says. “We were doing a street fair, and the parking lot owner on Montgomery Street stopped by our truck and told us about someone who was looking to sell a restaurant at Grove and Mercer Streets.” (

Oh, I don't know. Maybe not accidental foot traffic, but it is very convenient. Once people know its there it might do alright. But if they cook pork, they can't expect much business from the Mosque.

Oh, I see. That is a nice small space! Too bad not much foot traffic there, though.
