A worker fell from scaffolding at a construction site in Downtown Jersey City this morning and was brought to the Jersey City Medical Center.
Initial reports of the incident indicate the man fell one story, from the sixth floor to the fifth floor of the Cast Iron Lofts building at the corner of Jersey Avenue and 18th Street. Jersey City police and firefighters, as well as EMS responded to the scene.
Anxious coworkers looked on as their colleague was secured and taken away by ambulance.
