DeCarlos will make your off the rack suit fit like it was made for you...that does cost a little more.
I've had him work on shirts too, again, not cheap but the work was perfect.
If you just want the pants taken in, cuffs hemmed or sleeves shortened, Daniel is fast and cheap.

I have a friend who takes all of his new suits to DeCarlo's for alterations. That said, I inquired there once and found the prices a little steep. Daniel's on Grove St. is a good alternative.

Tailor's touch back on Brunswick and 7th is great, I've been going there for many years to get all sorts of stuff done.

Tailor Recommendation?

I just got some new clothes (2 suits, a couple of pairs of pants, and 2 shirts) that need tailoring. From Yelp I've narrowed my options down to three places: Alterations II Go (because it's close to my place), Daniel, or DeCarlos. Any feedback/recommendations very welcome.

These are quality clothes so I want a nice job done without breaking the bank and would rather avoid having to schlep them to my regular place on the LES (Nelson).

Thanks!
