With the cold snap, it's probably prime striper time. Anyone still considering this?
Puppies, unicorns, and rainbows. . . .

Hey, did you see the Jersey Journal article about the shootings on Wayne Street?

I have had some pier-side stripper luck on the other side of the river using clam bellies, but i think getting out in a boat is the best way. even if you don't catch anything, is still a great day on the water.

if i motivate and find someone, i'll let you know.

I might be interested in sharing a charter with someone.  :) For strippers or stripers.  ;D

I've fished off the piers, I've been skunked pretty much.

P.S. Don't eat the crabs.  :o

Down in the land of pleasant living, they're called Rockfish - up on the Cape & Islands, they go by "Striper" or "Striped Bass."

You can arrange a charter out of Staten Island

Is this an annual event?  The Running Of The Strippers?  I, too, must know!

has anyone ever hired a fishing guide out of Jersey City? i have been on a few trips out of sheepshead bay, brooklyn, but would prefer to charter someone local.

the strippers should be running now.

The "strippers" - ha!

I haven't heard of any fishing boats out of JC, but I have seen people fishing from LSP for stripers and bluefish. Also, Belmar is not too far from here.

One fish, two fish, red fish, nude fish.  Or are talking about floaters in the Morris Canal?
